One of the main reasons we like this product, and what makes it a perfect outdoor projector screen is the fact that it can be used in all weather conditions, whether it’s a big foggy, humid, dry or windy you should have no issues using this screen during all times of the year. We did find that in heavy winds you’ll need to get something to weigh the legs down as the screen acts like a big sail, but that is nothing unexpected and will hold true for nearly any screen that isn’t cemented into the ground.
On your standard mild windy day the included ground stakes, rigging cord and support rings will basically eliminate any movement due to the wind. Just make sure you securely pound the stakes into the ground and rig the cordage up properly so the knots don’t come loose. Once you get the Elite Screen Yard Master 2 fully assembled in secured into the ground you’re ready to go. The 180 degree viewing angle on this screen makes it perfect for larger gatherings as even those on the edge of the screen will have enhanced colors and a superior image. A few of the less well designed screen might restrict the viewing angles to those only sitting directly in front of the screen. Something that also makes this screen stand out is the black backing which helps to eliminate any back light that may shine through and disrupt your movie.
